During the Golden week I saw so many tourists in Osaka.

5月のゴールデンウィークの間、たくさんの旅行者が大阪に来ていました。

Last two months I had many short-term lessons in person for travelers learning easy Japanese. It was the first time in three years to have this many lessons in person.

この２ヶ月では旅行で使える日本語の短期レッスンが多かったです。

対面レッスンが多くて、コロナが広まってからこんなにたくさんの対面レッスンをしたのは初めてでした。

I appreciate that people want to learn Japanese during their holidays. I hope they can continue to study even after they go back. Some of them decided to take my online lessons from their country. I am so happy.

旅行中にも日本語の勉強をしてくださるってすごいことだと思います。国に帰ってもぜひ続けてほしいです。何人かの方は、帰国後もオンラインレッスンを続けたいとのことで、とってもうれしいです。

I went to see the musical called The Band’s visit. I loved it!!!

ミュージカルを見に行きました。素晴らしい作品でした！！

ブロードウェイの作品ですが、日本バージョンです。

Can you see how we put the title into Katakana?

We only have a sound ビ in Japanese language but sometimes we use ヴ for V sound.

For violine, you can use either バイオリン or ヴァイオリン.

カタカナの使い方をチェックしてください。英語のオリジナルタイトルは「The Band’s Visit」です。

日本語の音にヴはないんですが、英語のVをイメージするとき、ビのかわりにヴを使うことがあります。

バイオリンがヴァイオリンになっている場合もあります。どちらでも間違いではありません。

日本語バージョンの音楽もすてきでした。

I am not a vegetarian but I have many students who are vegetarian or vegan. In kansai there are not many  vegetarian and vegan-friendly restaurants. so I would like to share some of them.

私はベジタリアンではありませんが、学習者の方にはベジタリアンやビーガンの方も多いです。

関西ではまだベジタリアンメニューのあるお店は少ないので、時々紹介したいと思います。

I went to Kyoto yesterday and had an amazing vegan lunch.

昨日京都でとっても美味しいヴィーガン料理を食べました。

週末だけのメニューのようですが、ベジタリアンやヴィーガンの方におすすめです。

They surve lunch menu only on weekends, but it was really good!

明けましておめでとうございます。

お正月は両親の家でおせちを食べたり、初詣はつもうでに行ってのんびり過ごしました。

今年も日本語の勉強をがんばりましょう。2023年がすばらしい一年になりますように。

I went to the Nakanoshima museum of art.

中之島美術館なかのしまびじゅつかんに行きました。→こちら

今年の2月にオープンした美術館でびじゅつかんす。今は岡本太郎おかもとたろうさんの展覧会てんらんかいが開催かいさいされています。

とても素敵すてきな美術館でした。おすすめです。

I highly recommend to visit this museum if you enjoy art.

It’s not a Japanese restaurant, but my favorite place to eat out in Osaka.

和食のお店ではないですが、大阪で大好きなお店です。

The number of the new cases of COVID-19 is increasing again, it means we still need to be careful but it was very nice to eat out at my favorite restaurant again.
