先月、落語らくごを見に行きました。ずっと笑わらいっぱなしでとても楽しかったです。

Rakugo is one of Japan’s traditional performing arts. It is a form of storytelling, with some tales being passed down through generations. The stories are mostly humorous, but they can sometimes be sentimental.

The performer, dressed in a kimono, tells the story while seated on a cushion.

落語は日本の伝統的でんとうてきなコメディーショーです、時々泣けるようなお話もありますが、ほとんどはおもしろいお話です。昔むかしからの物語も、現代げんだいの新しい物語もいろいろあります。

落語の日本語は昔の言葉も多くて難しいと思いますが、You tubeで英語での落語を見ることもできます。

The Japanese language used in Rakugo is usually quite difficult, with some of the words being old, and the performer often speaks very fast.

I found a very interesting English-speaking rakugo performer on Youtube.

英語の落語もとてもおもしろいです。　

If you’re a fan of the anime Gundam, you should definitely visit ‘BAR A ZNABLE’ in the Kyobashi area. Even if you’re not a fan of anime, I would still like to recommend here as a nice cozy bar in Osaka.

今月の初め、大神神社へ行ってきました。

I visited Omiwa shrine in Nara.

It is a little far from the center of Nara city, but there are fewer people and very quiet.

This shrine is surrounded by thick forest at the base of Mount Miwa, the exact age of the shrine is unknown, but we believe it is one of the oldest shrine in Japan.

日本で1番古い神社だと言われています。山に囲まれたとても美しい場所です。中心地から離れているのでとても静かな場所です。

そうめんや日本酒が有名です。まだ少し寒かったので温かいそうめんを食べました。とてもおいしかったです。

Somen noodles and Japanese sake are very famous in this area.

人もそんなに多くないのでゆっくり散歩したい方におすすめです。

I had a hot salad bowl at WHY BOWL near Tenjinbashi 6 cho-me this weekend.

They have vegetarian options.

週末は大阪の天神橋筋商店街てんじんばしすじしょうてんがいとそのまわりを散歩しました。私自身はビーガンやベジタリアンではありませんが、野菜のメニューが大好きです。こちらのお店「WHY BOWLはベジタリアンの方でも食べられるメニューがあります。

おいしかったです。

毎日暑い日が続いています。 It has been boiling in Osaka.

昼は暑くて出かけたくないので、夜の散歩へ行きました。

I don’t like going out during the day this season. I went for a walk in the evening.

先週、ユニバに行ってきました。　

ユニバは、ユニバーサルスタジオの略りゃくです。

I went to Universal Studio Japan in Osaka last week. It was my first time entering the Nintendo area.

初めてニンテンドーのエリアに行きました。

It has been very populer area so it’s better to get a area timed entry ticket in advance.

とても人気なので、整理券せいりけんを予約したほうがいいです。

日本語はいろいろな略語りゃくごがあります。

There are many abbreviated Nouns in Japanese.

ユニバ→ユニバーサルスタジオ　スタバ→スターバックス

マクド（in Kansai) マック→マクドナルド
