昼は暑くて出かけたくないので、夜の散歩へ行きました。

I don’t like going out during the day this season. I went for a walk in the evening.

5月久しぶりにお休みをいただいて、タイのバンコクへ行ってきました。少し遅めのゴールデンウィークでした。

I went to Thailand for my late golden week.

コロナで家から出られない日が続つづいたとき、タイ語の勉強を始めました。２年くらいになります。

During my stay-at-home period, I started studying the Thai language. It has been about more than two years.

旅行中がんばってできるだけタイ語で話してみました。大変だったのは、まだほとんどの人がマスクをしていたので聞こえにくかったり、口が見えなかったことです。

The difficult thing was to talk with Thai people with their masks on so sometimes I couldn’t hear what they were saying and couldn’t see their mouths.

タイ語はまだまだ勉強が必要ですが、簡単なタイ語でも通じた時はとてもうれしかったです。

I still need a lot of work but I was so happy to actually use my Thai for the first time outside of the lessons.

先週、ユニバに行ってきました。　

ユニバは、ユニバーサルスタジオの略りゃくです。

I went to Universal Studio Japan in Osaka last week. It was my first time entering the Nintendo area.

初めてニンテンドーのエリアに行きました。

It has been very populer area so it’s better to get a area timed entry ticket in advance.

とても人気なので、整理券せいりけんを予約したほうがいいです。

日本語はいろいろな略語りゃくごがあります。

There are many abbreviated Nouns in Japanese.

ユニバ→ユニバーサルスタジオ　スタバ→スターバックス

マクド（in Kansai) マック→マクドナルド

ビジネスでも

プレゼン→プレゼンテーション　アポ→アポイントメント

まだまだたくさんあります！

During the Golden week I saw so many tourists in Osaka.

5月のゴールデンウィークの間、たくさんの旅行者が大阪に来ていました。

Last two months I had many short-term lessons in person for travelers learning easy Japanese. It was the first time in three years to have this many lessons in person.

この２ヶ月では旅行で使える日本語の短期レッスンが多かったです。

対面レッスンが多くて、コロナが広まってからこんなにたくさんの対面レッスンをしたのは初めてでした。

I appreciate that people want to learn Japanese during their holidays. I hope they can continue to study even after they go back. Some of them decided to take my online lessons from their country. I am so happy.

旅行中にも日本語の勉強をしてくださるってすごいことだと思います。国に帰ってもぜひ続けてほしいです。何人かの方は、帰国後もオンラインレッスンを続けたいとのことで、とってもうれしいです。
